Dr. Barbara Truszkowski

A commitment to higher education, service, and personalized care for her patients has been the foundation of Dr. Barbara Truszkowski practice of general dentistry for over 40 years. Dr. Truszkowski earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees, graduating with honors, from Dental University in Poland and University of Illinois College of Dentistry. In Poland She earned her highest specialist degree in Conservative Dentistry. After finishing dental education she started her own successful private practice. One of her main principles is to focus on minimally invasive and preventive dentistry. She has been providing compassionate care of the highest quality to patients of all ages. She spends time listening to her patients in order to understand their concerns and responds with the best treatment options. Dr. Truszkowski truly believes informed patients make better decisions about their dental health and well-being. In 2025 Dr. Truszkowski merged her practice with Dr. Margareta Qirko.

Dr. Margaret Qirko
DMD

Dr. Margareta Qirko is a passionate and dedicated dentist with over 20 years of experience in providing comprehensive dental care. Born and raised in Tirana, Albania, Dr. Qirko earned her first dental degree in Krakow, Poland in 2003. Since then, she has practiced as a General Dentist in Poland, Albania, and Germany, continually expanding her expertise in various areas of dentistry.
Dr. Qirko’s commitment to excellence in dentistry led her to pursue advanced training in Orthodontics at the University Hospital of Schleswig-Holstein in Kiel, Germany. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Comprehensive Dentistry and Endodontics, which further enhanced her ability to deliver top-quality care.
In 2018, Dr. Qirko moved to the United States and completed the Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists at the University of Illinois in Chicago, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Dr. Qirko is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and has been nominated for the prestigious OKU National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Qirko is multilingual and is proficient in Albanian, Polish, English, Italian, and Spanish, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of patients. She enjoys all aspects of General Dentistry and is dedicated to providing the most comfortable, stress-free dental experience possible. Whether you're visiting for a routine check-up, restorative treatment, or a smile makeover, Dr. Qirko is committed to helping you achieve your best smile.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Qirko is a devoted mother of two. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
